Lyubov Bender (Lead Counselor/Grades 11 & 12)
Mrs. Bender graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education then continued at UCF for her Master of Education in Counselor Education right after. She has been a virtual school counselor for several years and is excited to bring her love of online learning to Orange County Virtual School. When Mrs. Bender is not a work, she enjoys spending time outside and traveling with her son and husband.

Amanda Johnson (Grades 6-8)
Mrs. Johnson is a Middle School Guidance Counselor for OCVS. She is a Florida native and proud graduate of the University of Florida where she earned her B.S. in Communication Disorders. While working as a reading teacher in OCPS she obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling from Barry University. As a Nova Southeastern University Doctoral graduate, she passionately believes that every student can learn when they are equipped with the tools necessary for their educational journey.

Kalyn Colson (Elementary/Grades 9 & 10)
Ms. Colson is a UCF Knight graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She also attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where she received a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology (School Counseling). She is a proud Florida grown native! She attended Olympia High School where she assisted as a football manager and was a member of the step team. She has worked with students, ages 0-18, and loves to help students prepare for their future. She believes that every student has what it takes to be successful, especially if they have the right guidance and necessary support.
