New students will complete the welcome process to get activated in their online courses. Locate the Welcome Email sent to you (in your VSA inbox at vsa.flvs.net) by your teacher, and follow the steps to complete the welcome process. You will also be asked to complete the OCVS online orientation course.
This orientation course is located in Launchpad (Canvas) and each student will receive a username and password once enrolled.
Click on the link below. This will take you to the OCVS course catalog in the Canvas platform. Locate & click the online orientation titled, OCVS Orientation (FLVS) 2018-19 or OCVS Orientation (Canvas) 2018-19, depending on which platform your course is located. *This will be specified in the welcome email from the teacher.
Click on the ‘Enroll Now’ button and complete the online orientation.
Note: You will be taking a screenshot of the last page once you complete this online orientation and submitting it as an assignment to show that you have completed this step (this step MUST be completed before you complete the steps below).

1. Log into OCPS LaunchPad: https://launchpad.classlink.com/ocps
2. Click on Canvas and go to OCVS Catalog: https://ocvs.catalog.instructure.com/
3. Enroll in the OCVS Orientation (FLVS) 2018-2019 course
4. Complete the course & take a screenshot of your badge
